Meet Abby

Holding a college diploma in fashion marketing as well as a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Abby also stands out as a research professional at the Centre de recherche en comptabilité et développement durable (CeRCeDD) at Laval University while pursuing her master’s in accounting. Between 2019 and 2022, she created and managed Détour, an online boutique specializing in second-hand clothing. In 2022, she led a research project under the Mitacs program supported by Laval University, focusing on a profitability analysis of automating inventory management for an online second-hand store. Driven by her passion for fashion and a keen interest in research, Abby broadened her vision. This led to the co-founding of Collective Détour, a consulting agency specializing in sustainable development in textiles and apparel.
