Myriam Laroche
Myriam Laroche is a senior strategist in sustainable fashion, specializing in secondhand commercialization and the circular textile economy. As co-founder of Collective Détour, she brings over 15 years of experience helping brands transition toward more responsible, inclusive, and regenerative business models.
An entrepreneur, speaker, and mentor, Myriam has worked in the fashion industry since 1994. In 2009, she decided to focus her career entirely on sustainability, helping companies transform how they design, produce, distribute, and repurpose clothing. She is the founder of the internationally recognized Eco Fashion Week and led 13 editions of the event between 2010 and 2017 in Vancouver, Seattle, and Toronto. Over the years, she has collaborated with clients such as Value Village, La Maison Simons, ProColombia, and Fairmont Waterfront, and has shared her expertise with organizations including Native Shoes, H&M, FSC Latin America, Fashion Revolution, the University of British Columbia (UBC), Simon Fraser University, Lasalle College, ESG UQAM, Pro-Ecuador, Leverage Lab, and many more.
