At Collective Détour, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all recipe to become more sustainable or more circular.


What truly works is when we become a dynamic extension of your team, whether your company is small or big. We start with a quick read of your reality: how things work, where it gets stuck, and where opportunities are overflowing. Then together, we build a clear roadmap, short, mid, and long term.

Our role is to strengthen your sustainability and circularity function, or help you build it from the ground up if it doesn’t exist yet. We immerse ourselves in your values, your company culture, and your brand identity, so we can design an approach that’s concrete, realistic, and aligned.

Some call it “consulting”, we call it renting a dynamic cell: an experienced team that plugs into yours to move change forward, not just talk about it.

  • Your dedicated textile sustainability experts, on call.You need sustainability expertise but not a full-time hire. We get it.

    With Rent-a-Sustainability Team, you get direct access to Collective Détour's consultants, on your schedule, for exactly the hours you need.

     

    How it works:

    1. We open a client account for your organization

    2. You call on us whenever you need: strategic advice, stakeholder coordination, funding applications, supplier research, circularity roadmaps

    3. We track our hours. You get a clear invoice at the end of each month

    4. No retainer. No commitment. You pay for the hours we work

    What's included:

    • Strategic meetings and advisory calls

    • Stakeholder mapping and matchmaking between industry players

    • Grant and funding application support

    • Supply chain sustainability assessments

    • Ad hoc research and recommendations

    Minimum: 2 hours/month | Billing: Monthly, net 30 days

    Our Sustainability Assessment gives you a clear, honest picture of where your organization stands on environmental and social responsibility — and a concrete action plan to move forward.

    How it works:

    1. We audit your current practices: supply chain, materials, operations, certifications, communications

    2. We benchmark you against industry standards and your competitors

    3. We identify gaps, risks, and quick wins

    4. You receive a full diagnostic report with prioritized recommendations and a 12-month action plan

     

    What you get:

    • Current state analysis across key sustainability dimensions

    • Gap analysis vs. industry standards (B Corp, Science Based Targets, UNECE, etc.)

    • Risk and opportunity mapping

    • Prioritized action plan with timelines, estimated costs, and expected impact

    • Executive summary ready for your board or stakeholders

    Timeline: 4–8 weeks | Format: One-on-one working sessions + written report 

    This is not a 200-page shelf report. It's a working tool built to drive decisions.

  • Test before you commit. Prove before you scale. You have a circularity idea but no proof it works. We help you find out — fast, lean, and with real data.

    We design and run pilot projects that test your sustainable or circular initiative in real conditions before you invest at scale. From concept to results, we manage the entire process.

     

    Examples of what we test:

    • Takeback programs for deadstock or post-consumer textiles

    • Software and technology solutions for textile waste recovery

    • Market viability of a specific circular offering

    • New sustainability or circularity programs before company-wide rollout

     

    How it works:

    1. We scope the pilot together: objectives, success criteria, timeline

    2. We design the test methodology and coordinate all stakeholders

    3. We run the pilot : logistics, data collection, partner management

    4. You get a results report with go/no-go recommendation and scaling roadmap

     

    What you get:

    • Pilot design and project management from start to finish

    • Stakeholder coordination across your value chain

    • Real-world data and performance metrics

    • Final report: results, learnings, and recommendation to scale, pivot, or stop

    Timeline: 3–12 months typical
